2025-2026 Scholarship Information
Students can apply with one application. Eligibility is determined based on information included in the application.
The 2025-2026 application closed on February 20, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
General Eligibility
- A currently enrolled Woodrow Senior graduating in May 2026.
- Have a 2.6 unweighted GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher as of Fall 2025.
- Plan to enroll full-time during Fall 2026 as a student in an accredited college or university.
- Submit a completed application by the deadline and 2 recommendations (1 academic and 1 non-academic).

Please be prepared to include the following information and documentation with your application.
Recommendation Forms – action required
Complete applications include two recommendations – one from someone who can speak to your story of academic achievement (academic recommendation) and one from someone like a coach or advisor or workplace boss who can speak to your character and work ethic (non-academic recommendation).
When you complete your application, you will be asked to provide the names and contact information for your recommenders; they will then receive instructions and a link to the recommendation form. The deadline for complete recommendations is TBA.
Transcript
After you submit your application, the scholarship committee will request a copy of your most recent transcript from the college advisors at Woodrow. The transcript will be reviewed as part of your application package. You do not need to upload a copy of the transcript yourself.
What happens after I submit?
A committee of community volunteers will review your materials and rate on verifiability of information and evidence of achievement.
Award winners will be notified in April 2026 (exact date TBA). Winners must accept the award by the deadline (TBA)..
Award recipients will be asked to share a brief acceptance speech at our annual scholarships award ceremony, tentatively scheduled for May 5, 2026.
Award recipients will request distribution of funds once enrolled in classes for Fall 2026. Payment will be made directly to that school and is to be applied to qualified expenses, including undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board for the following academic year.
